C. 55 cartographic companies operate at the czech commercial cartographic market. They produce a large amount of maps used in tourism. However lots of maps don't observe basic principles and fundamentals of thematic cartography and requirements of tourism in their design.
Principles and fundamentals in creating of thematic maps from the view of requirements of tourism are the best traced out and described for city maps, therefore valuation refers this kind of maps - other kinds of maps used in tourism will be complemented gradually.

By every map there is symbolized, whether meets given criteria (Y) or no (N), aproposly there are noticed some absent fragments. Dashes in two cases by the city map of Harrachov by company Geodezie Krkonose mean, that these criterias weren't been valued (there aren't in Harrachov).
